I thought I would try it on the main router. BAD BAD SHIT for main router EA8500 !!! GUI install over r40370 (which was working perfectly fine). Webif never came back and couldn't reach anything.....course I use local DNS and installed via connect by router name. I tried access by IP and then got to its webif. WAN showed correct, wireless was showing connected to devices. Static leases were showing correct and connected. Local DNS was NO good and could NOT connect to anything past WAN (internet). I disabled unbound but that didn't help anything. Its ovpn sever showed nothing (NOT working...which it should come up with WAN-up.) I did manual power cycle but still excact same results' I didn't get any logs and just had to swap in the spare main router. I'll look into it more in morning..... since it is after 2:00 AM here now. Also NOTHING from outside could reach devices within my network.....I tried from cell network with the phone. Only thing I didn't try. I have JFFS2 enabled.....I should have disabled and rebooted to see if that might have helped. I just can't be down long like that. I see from the Apache server lots of folks banging the webserver after I got spare router in. # Netgear WNDR3700 V4 DD-WRT v3.0-r40386 std (07/19/19) Linux 3.18.140 #47502 Fri Jul 19 04:14:15 CEST 2019 mips switch / samba share / ovpn server all good # Linksys WRT160NL DD-WRT v3.0-r40386 std (07/19/19) Linux 3.10.108-d8 #15570 Fri Jul 19 02:27:37 CEST 2019 mips all good here but it's only a switch / samba share GUI install and all came back up just like it should. Did NOT have to do a power cycle like most previous builds.
